PRATA
A prata (Ag), do latim argentum, é um metal branco explorado desde o quarto milénio a.C., inicialmente na atual Turquia. Em Portugal e no Brasil, a procura por prata foi impulsionada pelas descobertas espanholas na América. Na joalharia, a prata é geralmente ligada ao cobre para aumentar a resistência, originando ligas como a prata 925 (sterling), 833 e 800.
As joias possuem forte valor simbólico e histórico, atravessando gerações como ligação entre passado, presente e futuro. A joalharia contemporânea combina tradição artesanal e experimentação artística, procurando criar símbolos mais humanos e originais.

SILVER
Silver (Ag), from the Latin argentum, is a white metal that has been mined since the fourth millennium BC, initially in what is now Turkey. In Portugal and Brazil, demand for silver was driven by the Spanish discoveries in the Americas. In jewellery, silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its strength, resulting in alloys such as 925 (sterling), 833 and 800 silver.
Jewellery has strong symbolic and historical value, spanning generations as a link between the past, present and future. Contemporary jewellery combines traditional craftsmanship with artistic experimentation, seeking to create more human and original symbols.
